Julian Rizzo Naudi is a Registered Physiotherapist with degrees from the University of Malta (BSc Physiotherapy, 2009) and the University of Glasgow (Master of Sports and Exercise Science and Medicine, 2020). One of his fields of expertise is cruciate knee ligament injuries, which he has extensively worked on with patients in hospitals. He has worked in a variety of settings, encompassing medicine, neurology, paediatrics, and orthopaedic surgery throughout the National Health Service. Julian also treats musculoskeletal injuries with the Maltese Olympic Committee and the Malta Football Association.
Through his studies and personal experience with diabetes, Julian understands the importance and challenges of maintaining a physical active lifestyle. He has made it one of his aims to help guide any diabetic patient on their journey from starting a physically active lifestyle to participating in sport.
Julian is particularly interested in exercise therapy and dry needling. “I enjoy helping people of all ages suffering from injury, through exercise, manual therapy and education. If I have an impact on a person’s overall ability to live their life, even beyond any injury encountered, I am truly satisfied.” Outside of work, Julian indulges in activities such as running, tennis, padel, squash, swimming and strength and conditioning.
You can find Julian in Ħal Għaxaq.
