Physio clinics interested in diagnosing & in the correct application of physiotherapy
Nicole Lia is a passionate physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Malta and a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, which deepens her expertise in sports injuries and rehabilitation. She has gained broad experience in diverse areas, including Intensive Therapy Units (ITU), neurological rehabilitation, cardiac care, and geriatric rehab, allowing her to adopt a well-rounded approach to patient care. Nicole has also worked with athletes in football, water polo, and tennis, where she designs tailored rehabilitation programs and focuses on injury prevention. Her dedication to sports physiotherapy is reflected in her published thesis on injuries in tennis players within the Maltese population, contributing valuable insights to the field of sports medicine in Malta.
Beyond her clinical work, Nicole is a dedicated volunteer who has supported the Special Olympics for three consecutive years, assisting athletes with disabilities to improve their physical health and athletic performance.
She provides home visit services for individuals of all ages, offering personalized care to help patients recover in the comfort of their own homes. By prioritizing recovery through movement, Nicole helps patients enhance mobility, regain independence, and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys going on hikes, plays tennis and padel.
Nicole is solely focused on providing domiciliary physiotherapy.
